Pacquiao vs Valero

Valero, in my eyes, would have to take down a group like Ali Funeka, JM Marquez, Tim Bradley, Amir Khan and a welter like Cintron or Clottey before he would earn a shot at Manny. Nobody knows who he is. He's a lightweight and Manny is a welter. He is currently licensed to fight in exactly one state in the US. He brings no money to the table. His best wins are Antonio Pitalua and Vicente Mosquera. Manny isn't ducking him or afraid, the guy simply hasn't earned a shot. - Mayweather vs Mosley

Valero vs DeMarco

I am in the camp who thinks Valero is overrated and will have his "Darchinyan moment" sooner rather than later. It's coming, and I will stick out my neck and say DeMarco will be the one to do it. I often wonder how modern era boxers can have a 30 fight career without even bumping into a decent opponent. Sometimes with multiple title reigns. - PacquiaoVsClottey

Valero KO RD8

- DeMarco gets hit too much, decent beard but IDK if can hold against a Valero assault. In fairness, he has a good chance to counter and rock Valero. However, I stand by my prediction. - RoWyN

valero vs katsidis would be like hagler hearns.. i do agree valero would clean his division.. the weightclass isnt as stack.. JMM would be the toughest, but valero will beat him because of age, marquez is slipping fast, a prime marquez will toy him.. i love valero, he is exciting and what boxing needs.. he beats demarco within six hpefully im wrong coz i wanna see valero on some deep water lets see how tough he is.. i cant understand how people can say he got a chance on P4P king... the guy hasnt fought elite.. PACMAN WILL KILL HIM - mekiko

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable, SS. I didn't mean "lurker" to have such a negative connotation -- it's just the industry slang. But if you feel like participating more, all the better. Just know that if you continue to be "The Man" in the prediction pool, I'll have no choice but to keep talking to you.

Thanks so much for the kind words. Fellow Midwesterner, by the way -- I'm from Indiana. GO COLTS! - Tim Starks

Hey Tim, don't be too creeped out, even by my doubly intimidating team name. I think a while back you described the various types of readers you have and as unflattering as it may be, I probably fit into the "lurker" category. Despite my passive participation style, I greatly enjoy the boxing community you have created and frequent your site multiple times a day. Finding people as compelled by the sport of boxing as myself here in the middle of the Midwest is not an easy task. Thanks for your seemingly tireless work. - Spidershark

Valero TKO 5. Even though there are 12 rounds, this has a 1 in 12,000 chance of happening because I predicted it. - Cardscott5
