New Foe For Williams (Maybe)

Puerto Rican news site PrimeraHora.com is reporting that welterweight contender Carlos Quintana has agreed to fight Paul Williams on Feb. 2. Quintana would be a substitute for Kermit Cintron, who prior to his hand injury was slated to face Williams as the headlining HBO telecast from San Lucia. MVN contacted Northeast Promotions, who promote Quintana, to confirm this news but was issued a “no comment” statement by the promotional company.  Stay tuned for more info as it arrives.
