“Season’s Beatings”

I should have posted this sooner, since it’s Christmas-themed, but so what, it’s still cool. And it’s close enough to Christmas.

There were at least two boxing-themed Christmas storefront windows in New York City. One, above, was at Bergdorf Goodman. I discovered it via this interactive feature, which captures some nice glimmers of why NYC at Christmas time is so special.

The other featured LIVE BOXERS. DiBella Entertainment arranged to have a couple of its prospects displayed in one window. I haven’t seen any pictures yet — you’d think somebody woulda captured it — but here’s a story on the subject from the Times. Pretty crafty stuff, DBE. Hat’s off.
