That Cracking Good Carl Froch – Jean Pascal War From This Past Weekend

Two thoughts about the video after the jump, which depicts Carl Froch and Jean Pascal going to war for a 168-pound title belt over the past weekend:

1. The low-dangling left hand, one of my biggest pet peeves in boxing because it leaves a pugilist so very open to being hit and for no really good reason, is a great recipe for action if both fighters do it and have some speed to ’em. Froch-Jermain Taylor, should it happen as is expected next, has the look of a pretty good one.
2. As Froch enters the ring, a Hooters girl is carrying the British flag to the ring for him. Classy!
