It’s December in 2014. We’re tired and pessimistic, after 11 months of poor match ups. But like those loveable scamps on that album cover up there (via), maybe we have enough left for one good run before the year is over — one last hurrah before Yoko shuts it all down. We’re fragile, boxing. Don’t let us down.
We’re getting more quantity than quality at this stage, but considering the long and winding road boxing has walked us down this calendar year, it’s just better than boot scrapings, we guess.
This week on Queensberry Rules Radio, James Foley of Bad Left Hook and TQBR’s Patrick Connor take listeners on a magical mystery tour of Omaha, Nebraska, London, England, and then back to Brooklyn, New York — the staging grounds of Terence Crawford’s easy win over Ray Beltran, Tyson Fury’s domination of Dereck Chisora and David Lemieux’s upcoming scrape against Gabe Rosado, respectively. Fights here, there and everywhere.
