Supposedly all things in the universe are a blend of light and dark, evil and good, Boston and The Eagles — yin and yang, if you will (via). And right now, when it comes to being appeased and getting serious value for their money, boxing fans sure are taking it up the yang.
For however many weeks/mainstream cards in a row now, we have had to walk away from the fights feeling mostly unfulfilled. From mismatches to poetically tedious dust ups, we’re due to be thrown a bone at some point soon.
One Queensberry Rules Radio this week, Bad Left Hook‘s James Foley and Patrick Connor of TQBR conjure up a joke or two (and occasional analysis) of Kell Brook’s decision over Shawn Porter, Anthony Dirrell’s sloppy win over Sakio Bika, and Omar Figueroa’s fun stoppage of Daniel Estrada that wanted to save the card, but couldn’t. Also, Deontay Wilder, Jorge Linares and Austin Trout figure into the discussion somewhere.
